I had the pleasure of watching online the Charlotte Folk Society's Membership Spotlight concert this past week. It was wonderful! So much talent! Afterwards I was invited to participate in a Zoom meeting to meet some of the people of the CFS. I admit I was a bit tongue-tied :). Such nice people and so gracious and welcoming to me. I was glad to have the opportunity to express my gratitude "in person" for the award of the scholarship.
Today I received my copy of the CFS Newsletter "The Circle". And how neat it was to see this in the newsletter ! It makes the excitement for the virtual Swannanoa Gathering build up all over again!! Can't wait till July for this learning and sharing event :)
